According to the Sixth Economic Census released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation , women constitute around 14% of the total entrepreneurship which means 8.05 million out of the total 58.5 million entrepreneurs. In many families, especially in India, since I belong to India, it is believed that Household Chores are only meant for women. Earlier the environment was so patriarchy that women were not allowed to leave their houses to earn. It was like a privilege held by the men. However, gradually things are changing and the women are availed with the 'Permission' to work and be independent. But there is one thing that doesn't really seem to be changing that is the Household work.
